HudsonFox is a d/b/a of StringBits LLC ("HudsonFox", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you contact our business, how we use it, and your choices. We do not sell your information, share it for third-party marketing, or use it to advertise to you.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to people who call or text our business number (845) 299-8808, submit our website contact form, or email us. It also applies to the business owner's own use of our internal AI receptionist dashboard.
Information we collect
- Phone calls and voicemail. Caller ID, time of call, voicemail audio, and any transcript or summary generated from that voicemail.
- Inbound text messages. Your phone number, message content, and any media attachments you send.
- Contact form submissions. Name, email, and message content sent through hudsonfox.io.
- Basic site analytics. Standard website analytics such as pages visited, referring URL, device or browser type, and approximate location.
How we use this information
- To respond to your call, text, email, or contact request.
- To notify the business owner so they can follow up with you directly.
- To keep records for service follow-up, operations, and billing.
- To improve service quality, such as reviewing voicemail summaries for accuracy.
SMS messaging program
We send SMS notifications under our Twilio-registered A2P 10DLC campaign. Recipients fall into two groups.
- Business owner notifications. The owner entered their own number to receive forwarded voicemail summaries and inbound SMS notifications.
- Replies to customers. We only reply in a thread the customer started by calling or texting us first.
We do not send marketing or promotional SMS, and we do not message people who have not already contacted us. Message frequency varies with inbound volume. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact hello@hudsonfox.io or (845) 299-8808.
Data retention and security
We retain call records, voicemail audio, transcripts, and SMS content as long as needed for service follow-up and recordkeeping, typically up to 24 months, and then delete or anonymize them.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transport, private-network access controls on internal systems, and limited access to customer information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Opt out of SMS: reply STOP to any message we send.
- Access, correct, or delete your data: email hello@hudsonfox.io with your request.
- Site analytics: use browser privacy controls, Global Privacy Control, or tracker-blocking extensions where supported.
Children and policy changes
HudsonFox is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by other means.
